Hi there! Welcome to the High Desert Homebody. My name is Kori, and as you may have guessed, I call the high desert my home. I live in a tiny town tucked between mountain ranges and surrounded by sagebrush with my 2-year-old daughter, a highly energetic hunting/cuddling dog, and a husband who spends the majority of the year fighting forest fires across the nation.

 

WAY back in the day, I used to fight fires, too - relishing in the life of constant adrenaline, travel, and adventures. Then came marriage and motherhood, and boy, did that change everything! These days, I am much more content slowing down, living simply, and learning how to take better care of my home, my family, and myself (although I still do love an adventure every now and then!).
